Sun-Sentinel to Print Palm Beach Post

Starting January 1, 2009, Tribune’s Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel will be printing Cox’s Palm Beach Post.
Also as of January 1, approximately 300 employess from the Post’s production department will be out of work.
No word as to what that means for the Post’s printing press, other production equipment or the building in which all that stuff lives.

One Big SoFla Paper

Looks like soon there will be one Mother paper in S.Fla. and all the papers that “were” will be bureaus to it. A lot of freelancing going on.
