Q: Most employees are under the impression they have until Aug. 11 to change their minds; in fact, they have seven days after signing the agreement to revoke it, correct?
A: Linda Murphy: This is correct. Clause 9 of the Voluntary Separation Ageement states that you’ll have seven calendar days after you sign and turn in your contract to send a letter of revocation to Linda Murphy, Human Resources.
So for those who turn in their contracts on Aug. 11, Aug. 18 would be the last day you could change your mind.
